Sam was an additional inspector for Ofsted/CfBT and an Associate Consultant for KPMG.

Mike Speight - Consultant

With skills in business consultancy, operational processes, recruitment and marketing, Mike has over twenty years experience developing and delivering effective solutions for clients across a broad range of industries. For the last six years, he has successfully managed and improved Apprenticeship Programmes for employers in the automotive and engineering industries and has built strong relationships in these sectors.

Utilising his considerable experience in commercial and Apprentice recruitment, Mike is well placed to support any organisation in making improvements to candidate acquisition and enrolment processes. An advocate of effective use of data and systems, Mike’s analysis and ability to apply results add considerable value to his projects.

Paul Rowlett

A proven Director with extensive experience operating in the Work Based Learning and Commercial Training sector delivering outstanding business performance and growth through structured key account management and business development particularly in the engineering and automotive sectors. Commercially focused with a strong understanding of the capabilities required to design and deliver outstanding training solutions. Accomplished and experienced in leadership, management and implementation of all areas of people and business management A confident individual with a pragmatic approach and an ability to communicate at all levels.

Lindsay Pemberton

Lindsay Pemberton

Lindsay has a sound background in the motor vehicle industry, he has had the opportunity to apply his skills in Further Education and the world of Independent Work-based Learning Providers. He has successfully held several teaching/assessing positions before moving across to a quality assurance role developing systems and processes within a large well known national Independent Training Provider. He has a wealth of experience in managing quality teams, working with Awarding Bodies, Sector Skills Councils and leading organisations developing new qualifications, quality assurance protocols and assessment techniques. In 2006 Lindsay was accepted as an External Qualifications Consultant with a large Awarding Organisation, in addition he has successfully completed a number of independent contracts for several organisations.

Caroline Sudworth

With nearly 15 years of successful experience in the STEM sector, Caroline has built significant expertise in the design, development and delivery of strategies and collaborative projects, often driven through partnerships between employers, and with Further and Higher Education. These have been focused on identifying and solving a range of STEM skills gaps, including employability and professional skills development.

Caroline held roles including the Head of Technicians and Apprenticeships at the Engineering Council, and the Higher Education Manager at Cogent Sector Skills Council. During this time, she has developed a vast understanding of the skills and professional systems in place in the UK, with experience of working with employers to successfully deliver Apprenticeships, work based degree pathways, including Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, and Professional Development programmes.

A highly agile and effective leader with a proven ability to handle complex programmes and communications, supporting the delivery of innovative and collaborative training.

Saskia Jamieson

 

Saskia has worked in the training sector for over 20 years, specialising in quality assurance, improvement and implementation of policy, process and procedure and audit compliances. Saskia has a detailed knowledge of Ofsted, Matrix and Merlin accreditation and ESFA funding rules.   Saskia has significant experience in the development and management of quality assurance and improvement strategies and initiatives, ensuring compliance, funding and quality assurance are met, while adopting a collaborative approach which positively drives change and innovation across a business.

Rob Gray

Prior to starting his own consultancy business and becoming an associate consultant, Rob held a senior management position at the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), with responsibility for the development of all IMI Awards regulated qualifications, as well as non-regulated provision. 

The qualifications and products developed included IMI Accreditations (ATA) and International Vocational Qualifications (IVQs). This involved close working with the regulators for each nation of the UK (Ofqual, SQA and WAG), as well as various UK government departments including the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Department for Education (DfE). 

Robs work helped establish IMI Awards as the dominant awarding organisation for the retail motor industry, with an outstanding reputation for customer service. Rob therefore has a good understanding of the requirements to ensure compliance, whilst also developing skills solutions that meet the needs of customers and end users.

Jean Webb

Jean Webb

Jean has extensive experience in quality improvement in the training and education field, having worked in both the public and private sectors. Her track record for supporting organisations to improve their outcomes and provision is exemplary. Jean‘s background and expertise, in the field of Occupational Psychology, has been invaluable in developing good practice in work based learning and assessment and she led on the development of materials to support training providers integrate maths, English and IT into the curriculum. She was an inspector with Ofsted for fifteen years and has particular expertise in the area of employability programmes and preparation for life and work.

Steve Glassock

Over his twenty years in the training sector, Steve has been Managing Director of three of the five largest private training providers in the country. He has also started up his own independent training company which he has recently sold. Steve is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director, and uses his wealth of industry experience to advise companies on strategy, operational improvements, audit and quality processes, and financial management.
